ADAM FAINGOLD

For more than 15 years, Adam has built a creative career around Broken Lock, his independent jewellery label, where he has produced work for Vans, Volcom, BMW and pieces made for artists and figures including Briggs, Comeback Kid, Steve Caballero and Travis Barker.

But making things is only part of the picture. His career has also moved through corporate leadership, coaching, youth support and community work. Today, alongside his creative practice, Adam works one-to-one with young people, facilitates The Big Issue Street Soccer program, coaches junior football and holds an executive role at Mount Eliza Soccer Club.

On paper, those things don't necessarily belong together. In practice, they always have.

Adam is hands-on by nature. He's more interested in what happens when you actually explore the ideas —whether that's turning a conversation into a piece of jewellery, helping a young person work through a problem, developing a creative workshop or bringing people together around a community.
